13.05.10 – AMAZING SHOW

We haven’t been taking the time to discuss our shows with you.  Last night we had the pleasure of having Richard Underhill from “The Shuffle Demons” join us for a sold out performance.
It was a truly amazing experience for those in attendance.

3 more shows to go!  Thank you all who have taken the time to experience our little play.

The Great Sign Debacle

Early on in the process of making our play we thought about marketing.  As you know we have a massive 100′ side wall facing Queen St so it only made sense to hire an incredible artist to cover that wall with a beautiful sign.

Below is what happened.

more than just another play…

here’s what the critics had to say:

NNNN in the NOW Magazine:

“DiLiberto’s electric presence and extensive vaudeville and clown training help keep the atmosphere fun yet enveloping”

COVER of the TORONTO STAR!!

The vintage store owner is a fictional character, played by Lisa Marie DiLiberto in her six-character, one-woman play “The Tale of a Town – Queen West”.

BlogTO

“While DiLiberto delivers the lines impeccably, the tales themselves were largely obtained from many of the colourful characters that have made up the legendary Queen Street scene over the past three decades.

EYE WEEKLY

The performance is highly engaging, using music and anecdotes to illuminate the development of the ‘hood.
